Acknowledgement of Country
I acknowledge the Aboriginal people as the traditional custodians of the lands where we live, learn, work and play. Living on beautiful Yuin Country, inspiration surrounds me, and I feel a deep connection to this area and its cultural history. I pay my respects to the people, their culture and to past, present and emerging Elders . I recognise and honour the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples significant rich cultural and spiritual relationships to the land, waters and sea.
Always was and always will be Aboriginal land and the oldest living culture in the world

About Me
I feel eternally grateful to have lived worked and played on South Coast NSW since 1982. Living here in my hand-built home in Congo within the Eurobodalla region is where I live and make within my humble Studio 369 within a wonderful and diverse community.
As a maker I view every day as an adventure of discovery, and I truly delight in playing and exploring exciting possibilities and processes within the artistic mediums of fibre, textiles, clay, printmaking, drawing and painting. My other creative passion of photography also informs my work as does being in and exploring nature, community, history, travel and music.
Making, repurposing and recycling was instilled to me at a young age from my family who were makers, builders, seamstresses, shipwrights, photographers and painters from a proud heritage of Scotland, Orkney and Norway.
My work often incorporates found objects or repurposed items and each piece reflects my surroundings and or the stories contained within the materials themselves to create unique pieces.
My work has found homes locally, nationally and internationally, and has appeared in both group and selected exhibitions in our local and regional area and ACT, and as a member of the Artisans Nest Gallery and EFTAG Eurobodalla Fibre Textile Artists Group.
I am a woman who is a free spirit, and also a friend, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a traveller, a gypsy at heart, a house builder, a gatherer of treasures, a sentimentalist, a protector, an advocate, a musician, singer, songwriter and a maker who will not be easily pigeonholed nor tamed and who lives life to the full.
